A blonde moment

You know the expression. It's one of those occasions where you open your mouth before putting your brain into gear. We've all had them.

One of mine was not long ago.
Hubby and i were going into the city to do the shopping. It was raining heavily at the time. When i suddenly blurt out "what a waste of electricity" my hubby replies "what is?". I reply "having the Cats Eyes on the road ON when its daylight"
Of course, he was driving with the car headlights on.

Right. It's your turn now.

HaHa!

Where I live if you have your windshield wipers on your headlights must be on as well.

I love life...Yeah, I'm sad, but at the same time, I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like...It makes me feel alive, you know. It makes me feel human. The only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt something really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good. So I guess what I'm feeling is like a beautiful sadness.

Courage and perseverance have a magical talisman, before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into air.

Don't be blinded by the front a person puts up to keep you from finding out who they really are.

If you want peace of mind, stop fighting with your thoughts.

The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them-words shrink things that seemed limitless when in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you've said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while saying it. Re: A blonde moment

That's true here in the UK too.

If you have a Volvo or Saab.

My blond moment was only yesterday, looking for a minidisc and stomping round like a maniac cursing everyone for hiding it, tidying away. Yes, of course it was still in the MD player 2 hours later ...

Hehe...my "blonde" moment was not so long ago, actually.

I called my mum on her landline, but forgot after awhile and went, "so where are you then?"

Duh.

Hehe, my mum chucked the remote for a nice portable TV out with the rubbish (or so we believe, she can't find it anywhere)

I guess that explains why you Swedes have problems starting your cars in the morning, after leaving the headlights on all night!

Was that a blonde moment seen live?

Re: A blonde moment

As a blonde, I have many many stupid moments, but one sticks out. One time i bought something at Wal-Mart and when i got back to my car i freaked out cuz i didn't have my wallet . So i head back into the store to find it only to realize after a few moments that my wallet was indeed in my hand . That's the most vivid, but there are numerous other ones

We know a little more about you every day

My latest blonde moment ... or brainfart moment (whichever you prefer) must have been all of 5 minutes ago ...

I picked up a bag of nuts ... about 1/2 way down the bag ... and then I started walking ....
A few minutes of crawling around on the floor later .....

I reckon you'd break down and cry, if you somehow lost the keys to your addiction
I suspect you have 30 copies of those keys, right, right ... no?

I've almost locked my car keys in my car while leaving it running, but fortunately, the car won't lock if the key is in the ignition
