| Re: Anyone Like Caves? I live very close to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, and have been through them many times. Even went into the "New" cave once. Lechugilla cave is closed to normal visitors. Good for the preservation of an incredible resource, but disappointing that so few can see any part of it. I wish they'd come out with a detailed documentary, cause that cave is spectacular. I've also been in the Luray caverns in Virginia...http://www.luraycaverns.com/ None of my film came out that time though. Made a mistake in the dark trying to start the roll of film. |

| Re: Anyone Like Caves? Weird... those are the only two I've been in, too. I think Carlsbad is grander, while Luray Caverns is prettier.

| Re: Anyone Like Caves? I would go spelunking when I was in high school. Our chemistry teacher would take us to caves that most sane people wouldn't touch. Thinking back I know I couldn't do it today for two reasons. The first is because I'm too fat to crawl into, and more importantly out of, the crevasses and holes. The second is I have more sense nowadays and can realize just how dangerous it was. If I go into a cave today it is usually Lurray Caverns in Virginia. |
