What is an acronym, Gil?

Glad you ask. An acronym is a word (as NATO, radar, or snafu) formed from the initial letter or letters of each of the successive parts or major parts of a compound term; also an abbreviation (as FBI) formed from initial letters.

So how is this game played, Gil?

Simple. The first person posts a word. The second person replies with a made up acronym for that word and posts another word. The third person replies with a made up acronym and posts a third word, and so on, and so on.

I'm still unclear. Can you give me an example, Gil?

Sure.

1st poster: GLUE
2nd poster: GLUE - Great Leaders Unite Everywhere; SEX
3rd poster: SEX - Spatial Energy eXperiment; SPIKE
4th poster: SPIKE - ...

And so on and so on.

Sounds like fun. So what's the first word, Gil?
