Ah Ha ......
I have not updated two of the recorder's, and I think the one which gave me the % errors was the one which had not been updated. It is a Toshiba Combo DVD-ROM/CD-RW SD-R1002. My other recoder is a Toshiba DVD/CD sd-r5372.
I shall go, and see if I can find a firmware update to the SD-R1002, as the SD-R5372 is current with TU55..
