Using his theory, I found out how to save track info, although it involves installing the new
Virtuosa version, then deleting it THEN installing the old version again, so it may not seem worth it to some, but here it is anyway.
Install the new version of virtuosa, then import all the music that you plan on converting. Close the program, then go to the Virtuosa folder in Program Files and copy "Virtuo32.vb" and "Virtuosa" (a CFG file) and paste it on the desktop or some place that you'll remember (I don't know if you need both of these files, but thats what I did and it worked). Then delete the Virtuosa program.
Then install the old Virtuosa version following the previous instructions, open it up and import the same exact music that was imported in the "new" version before. Close the program, then take the "Virtuo32.vdb" and "Virtuosa" (CFG File) that you previously saved and paste it in the Virtuosa folder in Program Files, replacing the ones that are already there. Open up the Virtuosa program and the songs should be there with track info.
There probably is a slightly different way to do it, but this is what worked for me.
