Liteon: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...106-942&depa=1
Plextor Premium: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...106-236&depa=1 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...106-235&depa=1
The reason theres two Plextor Premium links is because theres a "-BPS" model and a "/SW" model. I don't know what this means, can anyone explain? Anyway, the first thing I noticed is that the Liteon costs $26 while the Plextor is $78. That's a huge difference. Is PLextor "that" much better than the Liteon to cost so much more? Or are they really close and it would probably be better to get the Liteon and save money?.... |
1)The "BPS" is an OEM, and the "/SW" is Retail.
2)If you only care about backing up games, go for the Lite-On.
If you care about DAE quality, Write quality, Extra features, and Reliability, go with the Plextor.
