They flat refuse to promise what receiver you will get. Heck, they sent me a refurbished unit. I'm on the promotional offer for free HD service for 3 months on a 1-year committment, so I'm going to try for either a promise of an RCA or a release from the 1 year committment. (Hello VOOM). If I fire them, I'm still stuck with $500 worth of hardware I'm not using. I see there's a new Samsung model out now, BestBuy just started selling it. Still no sign of the RCA at any popular retailers. The Hughs monster with HD DVR is still at $999.

Maybe if I go buy an RCA, DTV will credit me some $, who knows.
