I have the BYTECC ME-320 as seen here. It's a USB/Firewire combo enclosure. Right now I'm using it with a hard drive and I've never tried it with an optical drive.

Maybe I'll pop in my Benq and see how it works. I can only use it with Firewire, though (don't actually have USB 2.0).
