I see. Probably that is part of the problem, although I don't mean minimizing, only switching between windows, or trying to open a new instance of Firefox. Also about loading pages - specifically when burning of a CD/DVD is in progress. First noticed on good old Yahoo! mail - the vertical menu in the left gets streched the whole width of the browser.
