Re: Blaupunkt/TeleAtlas DX Navi-CD

Hello,

all Teleatlas Navigation CDs (Greece, Germany, Alpen, etc.) 2004/2005 Edition are copy protected by (new) SafeDisc v3.1/3.x and NOT Safedisc v2.x. Due the fact that Teleatlas has implemented a "custom" Safedisc protection (many safedisc file missing, only the navi executable are protected) any Protection ID scanners like a-ray,etc says the disc are protected with safedisc 2.x. (the 00001.tmp file exist ;-) WRONG.

the main so called "exe" is not a native nor any x86 compatible executable. And; yes, the most navi systems reads copyied cdr's.

there is, just right now, the same situation like in the other threads "Safedisc v3.x". Its highly hardware dependent if the copy will work or fail. also the used cdr media, and the burning speed. to read the orginal use the same "read" profiles/suggestion like the other SD3 games. to write use only max. 2x speed and and an high quality cdr.

me has no luck so far with a running backup. - but by some other people a copy work.
