Can anyone recommend some good editing software? Nero Ultra won't allow me to make cuts in the middle of the file. I have used Virtual Dub to do this in the past but I wanted higher quality so I captured at MPEG-2 and Virtual Dub doesn't support this.
I have some captures from my TV tuner card I would like to remove the commericals from.

The files that need to be edited are...

type: MPEG-2
video: 720x480,NTSC(525) 6.00M Bit/Second
audio: 44.100KHz, 16Bit, Stereo
