I am a small producer of a little video, and I want to stop most users from copying my video. I am looking for inexpensive copy protection.
My question is:
If I use
DVDXCOPY to make my 'customer copies' from my producer's original, how good actually are the anti-piracy measures built into its DVDXCOPY series of software, specifically they have:
-- An embedded bit flag that prevents making a copy of a copy using DVDXCOPY.
I spoke to 321 Studios tech support and they can't tell me if this "embedded bit flag copy protection" will stop a person from copying my video using another copy program like RecordNow or some other copy program, although they say that it will stop someone from making a copy using XCOPY. If it only stops a pirate who uses one brand of software copying program, then it's not worth me using.
Does anyone know how I can inexpensively protect my video from being copied (not foolproof, but decent protection)?
