Whenever I install a game, or other program that contains more than 1 CD, it always asks/says, "Insert CD #2".

So I do, but it never sees the new CD. I click the 'Okay" button, but it keeps saying, "Insert CD #2".

Any ideas?

Plextor Premium drive.
Windows XP Pro w/ all patches
BlindRead/Write 4.5
Nero 6300
CDRWin 39F

I can only see the volume name of the CD that is in the drive when I boot. If no CD is in the drive when I boot, and I insert a CD, it will NOT see the volume name of the CD that has been inserted. Yet I can OPEN the CD and see/use the files fine. The problem is that multi-CD programs/games do not *think* the next CD is inserted, cuz they look at the volume name (which never changes, no matter WHAT I do)

I even tried the procedure listed here (populate volume, etc.):

But I don't have CloneCD or Alcohol 120% installed.

I think it might be a problem with the BlindWrite Patin-Couffin engine, but not sure. And I'm sure others would've had this annoying problem.

Desperate.
