He's got it right: In other words, rather than using
nero to encode your movie to nero digital, then using Dr Divx to convert that to Divx, it's easier just to use Dr Divx in the first place and go straight to divx.
What we need is a way to convert nero digital mp4 to divx compatible AVI without re-encoding (if this is possible)
Until that day, the Nero Digital format is little more than a useless novelty.
