I just recieved my Plextor PX-708A TLA# 103 Black, and would like to know which is the best way in connecting it (confused). Below is my current Spec and settings.

Cheiftec Black Matrix Midi
Intel Pentium 4 2.53Mhz
512 (2x256) Samsung RDRAM PC1066
ASUS P4T533-C Motherboard
Western Digital Caviar 200GB IDE (Primary-Master)
Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1502 (Secondary-Master)
Plextor CD-R 12/10/32A (PX-W1210A) (Secondary-Slave) <- to be replaced by the DVD-R!
Gainward GeFore 4 Ti4200 128MB AGP

Windows XP Professional with SP2 Beta.
