Basically, BW5 seems to handle MMC2 but NOT all the unique specific cmd set for setting the speed for all drives.
List of unique cmd set :

Gigarec, Powerec from Plextor,
JustSpeed from Ricoh
SMART-BURN from Lite-On
etc..

the speed problem indeed doesn't work as well as expecting but because of burners support of a special command to set the speed ( liteon especially ), we will revert to a fix speed choice in the bw5 settings but no change in the settings themself. |
