Just borrowed a mates backup DVD of a different game that works on his PS2 to try mine out. Same thing happens, red screen and no load!!!

He insists it used to play on his PS2 before he sold it and that he had a mesiah2 chip in it. I have the magic 3.1 but I don't think this should make a difference on the media it needs should it?

Why won't mine work and is it time to head back to the shop that fitted it???
