You'll only defeat a casual attempt at copying with most protections. The big time copy protections are expensive.

If you want them to burn, it then it will be difficult. The usual method of audio protection relies on the fact that PC players read the first session which can be corrupted data (second session is audio) and CD-DA players only read the audio session which can be the second session
