this is the test question to check if the NeroSDK can help with my project.

surprisingly enough i don't need to burn any data. quite opposite, my software (under WinXP) needs to read arbitrary chunks of data from the tracks of the audio CDs which are to be loaded to CD-R or CD-RW drive.
does NeroSDK provide such functionality?
