AnyDvd and Dual Layer Discs, some question's and recommendations for you OLLI

hey olli, the god himself, can anydvd do dual layer disks on-the-fly, cos it takes about 2-3 hours on my pentium 3 450mhz to transcode them (thats for a dvd about 7gb ish). ifso does it do all the reading first, then start writing or does it read each bit then burnt it, if so it would burn at a very slow speed like 0.1

do you make a good living from your elby and cough cough other company ? you should have a great wage, you bring copying to the masses with a fairly simple interface. a clony xxl thing for clone cd would be good though, like blindread does on newer versions, it shows you what options you need to copy the disc, that would be great.

the compress-ometer would be great, so you could get the best quality available to fit on a dvd-r.

a simpler interface would be good for begginers, so they could have simple options like copy entire disc, copy movie and other simple options, and the current interface under an advanced tab.

having preserve disc menus on by default would be good, i didnt see it once and was a bit annoyed when i didnt have menu's on the dvd.

when you open clone dvd, it would be good to have a button to check the protection and capacity of the disc, i.e a message box to appear saying "css encrypted" "dual layer, disc will need to be transcoded" and "the region of the disc", dvd decrypter has this, it says the region e.g 2 or 1,2,3,4 etc for region free discs like mine when i use the hacked 1.33 firmware for my pioneer 105.

also can you clarify what the checkboxes are in anydvd:

Region Code Enhancement - is this remove the region of the disc ?
Analog Protection System - is this remove css protection?
prohibited user operations - ?

been using clone cd for years, a GREAT program, keep up the good work !

1 last thing, what do you think about people who use cracks or keygen's for you programs, if they are rich and are too tight to buy it do you hate them, what do you think about people who are poor and cant afford to buy your programs, do you mind that or not?
