Ok here is some info.
If you look up and over to the right there is a button that says search which would have probably answered a few of the questions.
Ok now that Ive stated that,
AWS means Amplify weak sectors
EFM is eight to fourteen modulation, this is the patterns of bits that get wrote to the cd( that is a short explanation),
Sheep, Zerosheep and 2 sheep burner refer to if the burner can correctly right the efm to the cd. This comes from
clonecd's website because there are pictures of sheepheads next to the burners. If you have a burner that has a picture with 2 sheep heads, that means that cd burner will correctly write the efm, which, what is needed to be able to back up some of the protected games. If you see a burner with no sheep than, you more than likely not be able to backup c*C generals.
hide cd-r media should pop-up when the task bar is loaded. I am using a slightly older version of clonecd and it might be some where else in other versions.
Clone cd web page

And if you are backing up safedisc games most of the times, all you want checked is fast error skip.
Hope this helps.
