I dont bother joining the 2 AVI's together any more. To many Audio problems.

If both AVI's are of the same length (time wise) then set the final cd size in the Bitrate Tab of DVD2SVCVD to 2200 ( 1/2 of 4400) and encode both AVI's separately.

I then author in Maestro (probably can also do the same in SpruceUp) by loading the fist encode into Movie1 and the second into Movie2. Add chapters to both and link the Action for the end of the last chapter of Movie1 to play the first chapter of Movie2. It plays back seamless and without audio problems.
