I've had a play with it. You have to rip the DVD to HD first, I couldnt get it to do anything directly off the DVD. Yep it was fast alright and the quality looks good, but then I trialed it on a 47min DVD so no real encoding needed to be done.
However, by clicking on either IFO file it produced,
WinDVD would normally start the movie playing, but refused to play anything. I had to actually click on the *.VOB file for PC playback. That tells me its not authored properly.

Nero, what do thet recommend then? I am now using Nero almost exclusively for DVD burning and not had one problem. Ver 5.5.10.0 DOES have problems though, but any of the 5.5.9.x are okay.
