cheap good disks

compusa has tdk's for 19.95/50 spindle. bestbuy has imation's for 12.99/50 spindle. the imation has a rebate of $10 avail. i didn't look at the tdk's closely but i'm going back and getting 50 just to try. never bought any before. the i's are listed at cdmediaworld as taiyo yuden and tdk make their own. t y's are supposed to be among the best. imation-40x, tdk=48 (at least i think they were, i just noted the price and a 4x speed, the ole eyes aren't what they used to be). but i did make a mental note to return an get those tdk's. prob pick up a 100. and i'm heading back to best buy for 2 or 3 more of the imations. i might bunker up and do nothing but burn for a while. i only have 8GBs fo mp3's archived and need get em into a form that is easier to use (have old stuff and i'm too cheap to get a new player for the lr). i want the tdk's to see if they're what everbody says. ie very gooduns. t ys are also. i've used them for a couple of years with good results on my old yamaha. course i don't need the speed for it. and my liteon is in the shop...don't ask i'll come clean. it started with a bad firmware burn. knocked the yammy off windows too. got that back with another firmware burn...but the liteon had gone south...we couldn't raise the dead...this time any way! we'll still try
