This part I do understand...Encoding is CPU intense , I know it's going to take alot longer on your 200 mhz than a 1.4 t bird...dam 10-15 min sounds like a long time so go get that new computer.

don't worry i am.
my main problem is that i want to just click the big MP3 button, and let the program rip and encode while I am watching TV.
I want to rip all the songs on a CD
into a folder with the name of the CD.
THEN, i want Lame to automatically encode the files in that folder.
