and this is a good thing. Patching firmware needs some basic knowledge, even if GUI tools are existing. At least the user should know what he's doing. So, as many information as possible is given. Sometimes they are just a pointer to another essential article.

See above. Some knowledge is needed.
Also, there are too many MTK based Samsung drives, including OEM and Philips or Sony rebadges to put them all into a thread title.
