Re: How To: Crossflash 212D to 212

Excuse me as this might sound mean. Can either of you actually read.I have already said tried that before posting on here. The Tdb 212d_115 does not flash drive.

And just so you know , when you burn a disc and it completes 100% and then it fails to verify on the drive written and then subsequent burns to various media including quality Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim TY and then you stick the burnt disc's into shall we say another 20 dvd writers and verify the written data against the ISO and it fails on each one then WHAT hardware do you think is responsible.

The drive that wrote the data is the answer therefore in this instance that means the Pioneer 212/D.

Thanks for the input initially and as I previously looked at post 14/15 b4 posting indicated this method should work.
However It does not actually work the drive fails to revert back to a 212D.

Have you tried it recently maybe the file has been changed.

Maybe it's my fault, will try again, but on 2 pio 212D >212 trying to go back to 212D (I only wanted 1 to go back to 212D though but had to try both to see why flasher would not work on seemingly 1 of the drives but it does it on both)

Now if you recall I wrote I wanted to go back to 212D to shall we say it's original hardware/firmware state to rule out some kind of flash fault. Not to use write strategies they are the same even ram write strategies are in the non dvd-ram firmware.

As I said above it might be my fault for not trying to flash the Tdb package on another interface will try that today but please the comments about sanity and verifying comeone.
