| Re: How To: Crossflash 212D to 212 @ dontasciime,
Why are you jumping through hoops attempting to find a 212D kernel File?
Once again review this “How To: Crossflash 212D to 212” thread in its complete full entirety. When reviewing the thread in its entirety note postings #14/#15/#16/#17 comments. If pursuing posting #15 comments no external kernel file is required as The Dangerous Brothers 212D_115.Exe Flasher file is a fully self-contained Flasher that contains everything necessary for Pioneer DVR-212D v1.15 Firmware flashing. In posting #15 also note the comment concerning Media Code Speed Edit tool “Allow Same To Same Flashing” patching of the Official Pioneer DVR-212D Flasher.
Also note posting #17 comment concerning Firmware write strategies. Running around willy-nilly swapping to various series DVR-212 Firmwares is a total waste of time because the Firmware write strategies between the series DVR-212 same Firmware Numbers are all exactly the same.
If you are jumping through hoops flashing your Pioneer DVR-212D to all imaginable Firmwares just because your Software Program fails to Verify disc writing I would suggest using a diagnostic software program similar to N e r o CD-DVD and/or DVDInfo before assuming a deficiency in your DVR-212D Drive.
