I thought the 840A and 840AK only differ in the color (I thought "K" means it's the black-color model of the 840A...)
So, Sony models before the 800-series are rebadged-Lite-Ons whereas post-800-models are rebadged-Samsungs..
Which is a better drive in terms of disc writing quality: Lite-On or Samsung?
