I have two questions about MCSE having not used it yet. The answers may be buried in these 38 pages, but a search didn't find them.

When I load S0414431.118, I get the option to check RPC1 Patch. Once checked, it becomes grayed out and cannot be unchecked. Is that by design?

Upon Save, the new file name is S0414431_speedpatched.118. Is it appropriate to flash (DVRFlash) with that name or need I rename it to an 8.3 name first? Does it matter what name or must it be S0414431.118 again?
