Michael, Thank for the info regarding chipset. I was not aware of this.
I had come across different thread talking about Panasonic this and Renasis that. I never bothered to explore the differences and which was used where. At least now I have an explanation. That LG drive is in my gaming Console and gets little to no use. I think that is where it will stay. Regards, John
