Guess It was just coincidence that this started when I upgraded to 5.0. I don't understand why it burns perfectly on DVD+RW and not on Verbatim DVD+R. Was able to burn on all brands of discs in the past. Maybe I have worn it out I have burned hundreds of movies on this drive.

I read in the post prior to yours that the drive was dirty, can it be cleaned like a VCR?
