Maybe I misread your post Jimbo, but when you select DVD5, it does its compression while reading, it makes a big difference on what Mode is selected. When you select DVD9 it will not compress while reading. Maybe you are talking about the free decrypter, that does not compress. But there is no DVD5 option in the free decrypter if I remember correctly.
