Thanks guys, I did finally figure that out at the Micro Center today.
Got an HP Photo 5360 printer for $80. Already have ink for HP's as I have a regular HP ink jet so thought it would be cheaper than buying a new bigger unit. Man, I've really gotten out of the loop with this tech stuff since I've been in Academia for the past 10 years!!
Anybody got ideas on why my Optiarc won't recognize video of any kind or any format since activating/inactivating the booktype setting in
DVDFab? (One of the suggestions from above.) I'm currently installing my new external LG, or trying to. The autoupdate feature seems to be stuck right now. Anyway, I noticed the Autorun feature doesn't work on it either. Not sure yet if it recognizes video media or not
I'll keep you posted on how my original problem works out with the new drive and maybe I should start a new thread re: the loss of my Optiarc to recognize video media.
