Maybe it would help if you listed all hardware and software on the 98 unit.
Are you using 98 original, or SE?
I too use Fab Plat, and on my 98SE box, Versions 4 and 5 will crash. Same
versions work fine on my XP rig. Version 2.x.x.x ran perfect on the 98SE unit.

I would love to know what hardware Jethro was using when in his earlier
post he said Ver 5 worked fine with 98 after a fresh install. I tried a fresh SE install with no other software a while back and still had problems with Ver 4 crashing, so I loaded it on my XP unit.
