Of course any other software can cause a compatibility problem From your Anit-virus to your zip software.
Are you saying the only software on your test machine is the 98se OS with patches & DVDFab5.0.2.0.No other software?
The 98 machine my friend is having problems with has the same software Earlier versions of 4 worked with.Only later version 4 & 5 are having problems.So the change is in the newer
DVDfab & that is where the incompatibility problem is.
