Have you tried burning a dvd, just a data dvd, using another program? Like
Nero or ImgBurn? I'd like to know if your burner is operating correctly, and this is one way to test it.
You should also check to see if dma is enabled for your drive. Look through
this thread for instructions on how to do this.
It would help us diagnose your problems if you would tell us the make and model burner you have, and the exact disks you are trying to burn. I suggest downloading a free program called Nero DiscSpeed,
http://www.cdspeed2000.com/ , load one of the blank dvds and click on the Disc Info tab in this program. Tell us the MID (manufacturer id code) of the disks. Have you used these particular disks successfully in the past, or is this a new batch?
If there is a log file for the failed burns in
DVDFab, you should post it as well. I'm not a DVDFab user, so I don't know if it makes one or not. Perhaps someone more familiar with the program will enlighten us on this point.
