yep tried a sanyo dvd player and then my playstation 2 dvd player. neither worked. my wife was going to test her dvd player at work. don't know where the disks were made. at work right now.

this is the burner that i'm using LITE-ON 2-Tone USB 2.0 EZ DUB External 20X DVD±R Burner Model DX-20A4PU-06. i noticed on lite-on website, it has a BookType / Bitsetting Utility for it's product: http://us.liteonit.com/us/index.php?...per&Itemid=152. little outdated, since 2005. don't think i need it since imgburn can set the booktype, correct?
