Even if one were to presume somehow that the reference to human lifetime is a valid legal point, from a technical perspective, I don't believe there has been a violation of contract. You have not and will never be charged for a update or upgrade to DVD Region & CSS Free. Of course, you may have to wait a bit for the next update...perhaps a "lifetime", who knows? Nevertheless, it's free.
Are there any software programs that offer free updates/upgrades for the lifetime of the user? If the company/product goes belly up...is the company liable for damages based on development that has not and will not take place? | Right on!! |
