Arachne - I've run SpyBot, CCleaner, Verizon Internet Security Virus/spyware, AdAware, Mal (something), SmitFraud (i think this is the one that got rid of the wallpaper thing)

cholla - I've never done a system restore, but if it's an option, i'm open to new ideas.
