I’ve tried with Memorex DVD+R DL 2.4x maximun write speed and the write speed was 2.4, How can it be if the minimum speed allow for the firmware is 4x???
You will have to complain to the maker of your drive, and ask them to update the firmware, not that it will probably do any good, but you could try. LOL. This is a common problem, do not feel alone.
