Surely that flagrant style of abusing access to peoples' personal data is illegal? Calling everyone on a voting register in a specific area just to get people looking for his cat is beyond reasonable.
I'm thinking Data Protection Act if this were in England but I'm not so sure about equivalent laws in the US. Anyone?
