Yes.... because the damn things cost money which doesn't grow on trees (maybe it does where you live but definitely not HERE). Plus why would i need a second one anyway? I don't even have space for a second one in my PC (no bay AND no free IDE channel).

So i'll get a new burner when i get my next paycheck and along with it the required HDD for Linux and a new pack of Verbatims.

You may close the topic now, problem temporarily solved (by reverting to old version).
