| Re: ImgBurn 2.4.1.0 "Verify" error - discs dodged? Hmm....
Your log does not state OS and ImgBurn version, and your burner (same model as mine) seems to be connected via USB.
Apart from that, the correct identification of the disc AFTER burning is the same what i get when using the OLD ImgBurn version. So i guess that in my particular setup the newer version burns something onto the disc which dupes the burner to "detect" it as a DVD+RW.
Or how else can a DVD+R become a DVD+RW during the burn process?
Nevertheless, i have it working again, old version, no support ok i can live with that (never needed support before apart from the occasional question here)......
By the way i DID try a whole bunch of DVD's yesterday in the burner to check if there is ANYthing wrong with it - some 2-3 year old "Princo" DVD-R's (1-4x and 1-8x variants), old Verbatim DVD-R's, old and new Verbatim DVD+R's (8x and 16x variants), genuine movie DVD's, copycat movie DVD's.... ALL read fine in the burner - EXCEPT for the few i burned with ImgBurn 2.4.1.0.
So my personal conclusion: Bug in 2.4.1.0. Drive = ok.
Best regards.....
Thanh Forgot to mention - the few DVD's i created with that version are NOT "coasters", they are just unreadable by the burner but work fine in any other drive. And that bug, whatever it is, maybe only comes out when using Vista Ultimate 32bit with an AMD processor and the burner being connected via IDE....... strange things DO happen.
