Hello again

So now i am at home. And here is what i got. First, i checked for the DMA settings again - all fine, both drives are in Ultra DMA Mode 4, IDE driver is still Microsoft.

I hope you can find something that pin-points the fault..........

About the mentioned "third party software that uses ImgBurn", i don't think i have any such on the PC.... i use ImgBurn exclusively as my only burning application because it is free of all the bloat found in others.

I will now revert to the older version which i still have and see if it still works.

Will let you know once done.
