But...also hangs on Denon upscalar unit....cheapo that came with speakers/amp but reasonably new.
DVD-557 is that model.
Is my issue disc or player ? I've heard bad quality discs can prevent/hang layer change. Been doing some reading and most folks seem to rave about Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL is MKM-001-00 which is Singapore made fab...not the India fab.
