My Proper Computer still runs Win98SE. I have another Desktop that runs
XP Pro SP2 and a Laptop with XP Media Edition, but W98SE runs rings
round them both and doesn't need a swapfile.

Autopatcher for SE dated DEC 07

You could also upgrade your Win98FE to the Best of ME version.
