If I were you I would go here http://free.grisoft.com/ and get the free version of AVG Anti-Virus. For your spyware problems, I would go here http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php and would download Ad-Aware 2007 Free. From my experience, these are the two best FREE programs available for your problems. Both stay up to date on virus and spyware definitions. AVG's Anti-Virus is pretty much the same as it's consumer version and Ad-Aware is the same, but doesn't provide real-time protection, but who cares, it's free and you can scan and delete spyware which is what you need to do. lets just say the antivirus my pc came with doesnt work...so when i have a spyware or viruses i have to take it to the computer store for cleaning which is very expensive... i've tried several free antivirus programs but they arent of much help...Some of them cant find the spywares even when i'm using complete scan...it just say scan complete and no treat was found....the others only detects the spyware and viruses but it doesnt remove them because its a trial version...dont really have the funds to buy it....so right now i have 278 spywares and viruses and they're at high risks.
