Yup, yet "the better format" won. Aggravating, isn't it? I have heard that there is supposed to be a region hack in the works for the PS3 and that would probably be the best route to go since that would be more like a firmware update rather than a hardware mod and the PS3 is better suited for upgrades in general. Just my .02.
