why on earth is Sony sticking to MPEG-2? Even their high-end prosumer camcorder the EX-1, an absolutely AMAZING camera, shoots in MPEG-2. There goes quality in favor of tradition.

I have a feeling they're going to end up a bit like HD-DVD on this one.
